Did I really pay for that!
The venue was first of all over sold, with only standing room in the amphitheatre. Way over priced were the food and beverages. Money for no service fees has to be made up somewhere, I guess. Not very good is the sound system at this venue. What was being said or even the lyrics to songs, we couldn't understand.
Good sounded ZZ Top but didn't play very long. While playing good, Rush didn't play very long either. If they played more than an hour, it was too long and the number with ZZ Top took up a good 30 minutes of the show. When you go to a concert, you want to hear the songs that made them popular.
I was very excited about this concert, as I'd never seen Rush perform live before. However, I left wishing I hadn't spent the money or wasted the time, especially since there wasn't even a place to sit!
